An elderly man met a tragic end in Evia, as he suffered a stroke when the great fire broke out.
According to evima, residents of Petries reported that when he saw the fire starting and realized that the first front was very close to the houses, threatening his own residence, he could not stand the shock and the pressure, resulting in him collapsing.
Evia: He was found dead in his house
As soon as they saw the front of the fire, relatives and friends tried to locate him and contact him by phone, but were unsuccessful.
So, while the fire was in full progress, they decided to try to approach his home, where they found him dead inside.
