One Elden Ring fan noticed a detail that went unnoticed by all other gamers. He noted that From Software was perfectly correct in animating the NPC playing a musical instrument.
YouTuber Sekiro Dubi said that the nomadic traders do not just move their hands to the music of the instrument – the movements really correspond to the sounds being played.
[Sound on!] People complain regarding recycled animations in Elden Ring while FROMSOFTWARE is out here hand-animating the fingers manually hitting every note on the song played on this NPC’s instrument perfectly. Absolutely beautiful effort on such a tiny scale. pic.twitter.com/Cs09wn3K1C

All this is a good indicator that the quality and thoughtfulness of the game does not have to be deliberate. Elaboration and attention can be reflected in many different ways, even if in some cases developers use the same assets multiple times.
Elden Ring was released less than a month ago, but has already become a From Software hit and has earned hundreds of millions of dollars, selling over 12 million copies.
Such success came as a surprise even to developers – no one thought that the project would become so popular so quickly. Whether this is due to the fact that Elden Ring is a little more accessible, or thanks to the open world, or maybe because of George Martin. Or is it a complex of all the facts and the reputation of the studio.
