Al-Marsad newspaper: An Egyptian employee returned a bag containing more than 2 million dollars and a quantity of gold jewelry, worth approximately 350,000 riyals, to a Saudi citizen.
Ayman Abdel Hakam, a temporary civil employee at the Red Sea Traffic Department, found a bag with amounts estimated at more than 2 million dollars, a large amount of gold, worth more than 350,000 Saudi riyals, while he was in the ambush cafeteria of the northern neighborhoods in Hurghada, according to Egyptian media.
The employee said that “while he was in the neighborhood ambush cafeteria, he noticed the presence of a bag immediately, which he opened to find out its owner or find any data for him, and he was surprised inside large sums of dollars, as well as a quantity of gold jewelry.”
He immediately went to the officer responsible for the ambush to notify him, and following examination, it was found that it was for Saudi passengers, a man and his wife, accompanied by an Egyptian, who were traveling in a customs car.
