An Egyptian movie that grosses less than $10

In an almost unprecedented decline, the movie “His Excellency Mama” earned only 130 Egyptian pounds (regarding $9) last Tuesday in theaters.

The decline in the revenues of this film led to the removal of this film from theaters, and its presentation lasted for nearly 3 weeks, and was satisfied with a total of only 217,000 pounds, according to what the “Al-Masry Al-Youm” website indicated.

The events of the film revolve in a comic social framework through the mother’s relationship with her children in the presence of other responsibilities surrounding her.

The movie “His Excellency Mama” starring Bushra and Mahmoud Al-Leithi, a group of young men, Nour Ihab, Salim Al-Turk, famous for Sulley, the child Yassin, son of the late artist Ghinwa, sister of Angham, and a number of stars, including Sami Maghawry, Nour Qadri, Alaa Morsi, Hossam Dagher, Mohamed Ali Rizk, Sherif Baher, Taher Abu Laila, Ismail Sharaf, Doaa Ragab, and a number of rising stars, including Reham Al-Shennawy, Raghad Jalal, and directed by Ahmed Nour.
