An Egyptian artist revealed a surprise regarding a prostitution case that she was accused of, along with 12 other artists, during the 1970s.
Actress Amal Ramzi said that the case, known as the “white slave”, in the seventies, was fabricated and orchestrated by a famous Arab leader.
She pointed out that the leader, whose name was not revealed, visited Egypt from time to time, and sought to organize evening parties for female artists, and because a number of them rejected his offers, he managed the case.
Among the artists who were accused in the prostitution case in the seventies, Mimi Shakib, Nahed Yousry, and Amal Ramzy.
Amal Ramzy appeared in many dramas and cinemas, and on the stage, and she has a balance of nearly 100 artworks, including the plays The Tale of 3 Girls, The Husband is the First to Play, and Al-Kalamanjih, and she also participated in the series Shafiqa, Metwally, Al-Jani, and Caravan of Time.
And she played a role in her last work in 2018, in the series Living Your Dreams, with Abdel Rahim Hassan, Menna Al-Masry and Sharif Al-Khayyam.
