Actress Sarah Nakhla sparked a great deal of controversy because of her attack on the Egyptian singer Sherine Abdel Wahab, following she appeared overweight and in sports casual clothes during her concert in Kuwait.
Nakhla wrote a post, through her personal account on the “Facebook” website, saying: “It was very disgusting, frankly, there is no justification for all this, our Lord gave her money, children, and success, no one takes everything.”
And she added, “She remains silent and quiet, seriously provocative. I used to love her very much, but she was disgusting and suspicious.”
The public interacted widely with the publication, and many of them launched a strong attack on her because of her comment, and many of them considered that she was seeking to stir up controversy and fame, while others considered that she was trying to be a trend by commenting on Sherine.
