On the eve of their 50th anniversary, the students of “Yuriy Gagarin” SU – Burgas are organizing an educational conference on the topic “SCHOOL AND SPORT – A GOAL WITHOUT A PLAN, ONLY A DESIRE REMAINS”. The event will be held on April 5 (Wednesday) at 10 a.m. in the Georgi Baev Hall of the Sea Casino.
On the eve of their 50th anniversary, the students of “Yuriy Gagarin” SU – Burgas are organizing an educational conference on the topic “SCHOOL AND SPORT – A GOAL WITHOUT A PLAN, ONLY A DESIRE REMAINS”. The event will be held on April 5 (Wednesday) at 10 a.m. in the Georgi Baev Hall of the Sea Casino. The purpose of the conference is for the students of the Sports School to present themselves in a different light by demonstrating their knowledge. We are all used to seeing them in stadiums, halls and swimming pools. We know regarding their great successes in the field of sports, we know regarding the enormous efforts and work they put in to reach the cherished goal. Extremely motivated in sports, ready to always surpass themselves, they achieve high results, but also invest in their education. Some of the best athletes are excellent students. They skillfully combine ambition, motivation, will, discipline and desire to develop and move forward. In the conference, the young hopefuls will present their essays and stories. 24 students will take part in the event. In addition to the hosts and initiators from SU “Yuriy Gagarin”, the forum will include graduates from SU “St. St. Cyril and Methodius”, Vocational High School for Romance Languages ”Georgi S. Rakovski”, Vocational High School for Building Construction and Installations “Peño Penev”. The themes they work on are: “The difficulties we face today determine who we will be tomorrow.” Leonardo Da Vinci. “If you want something you’ve never had, you must do something you’ve never done before.” Thomas Jefferson. The criteria by which the works will be evaluated are: the stated personal position, independence, responsibility, persuasiveness, originality and creative thinking when presenting the topic. The 50th anniversary of the Sports School will be celebrated with an attractive performance at the NHK Cultural Center on April 27.
