An attack on female students in the vicinity of an educational institution ends with the death of one of them and the sending of two others to the emergency room

A young student was killed while two of her classmates were taken to the emergency room, following they were subjected to a heinous assault with a knife in front of the institution where they studied in the city of Sefrou.

According to what was reported by local sources, this attack, which occurred last Friday (April 26, 2024), targeted three female students studying at the Common Core level of experimental sciences at Sidi Hussein Al-Yousi Secondary School in the Boudirham area of ​​Sefrou Province, which took the life of the student named H.T. While her two colleagues were seriously injured.

The same sources explained that the perpetrator intercepted the victim and her colleagues following they left the institution for the purpose of stealing, which prompted the victim to strongly resist him, but he stabbed her twice with a white weapon in the abdomen, following which she was transferred to the hospital, where she breathed her last.

The same sources added that the suspect beat the other two students following trying to rob them of their property, resulting in severe injuries to the face and hand, before he fled following committing this crime.

It is noteworthy that the incident mobilized the security services, members of the Royal Gendarmerie, and the local and regional authorities in Sefrou, as they continued over the past two days to comb a number of streets, neighborhoods and forests adjacent to the city of Sefrou, which resulted in the arrest of the perpetrator of the heinous crime.

This horrific incident prompted administrative and educational frameworks and students to stand in solidarity with the family of the victims of the attack, strongly condemning this attack that claimed the life of a female student in front of the educational institution where she was studying.

This incident requires officials to review the legal systems in place to protect educational institutions and secure the vicinity of schools and high schools from the oppression of theft gangs, thieves, criminals and delinquents lurking among female and male students.
