Munir Ahmed, a resident of Quetta, following completing his schooling in the nineties Artwork had started making and many more in his 30-year journey of painting Provincial And has received national level awards.

Muneer Ahmed is an artist who now works as a welder out of compulsion.

This ranged from sketching to watercolor and sculpture. The golden age of Munir Ahmed’s career was following the year 2000 when people started coming in droves to order him to create different types of art.

Due to which Munir Ahmed’s economic conditions not only started to improve, but he also started to be seen as a value in the society.

Muneer Ahmed said that this trend has slowed down following 2015

And nowadays they have to unite the earth and the sky for two meals a day.

Munir Ahmed has been doing welding work in a nearby shop for the past few years, which now supports his children.

But due to continuous welding work, his eyes have started to weaken due to which he is unable to do his art work properly.

His eyes are getting weaker day by day.

Muneer says: ‘When I come back from welding, for one or two knots my eyes are dark and everything is blurred.

‘When making a picture etc., the work is meticulous, but now when I try to make a picture, with my eyes Tear They start coming out.’ Munir says that now when I take an award home, my family members make fun of me and say what will I do with so many awards? Focus on your welding work. The expenses of the house are not being met.

This place has now become a junkyard and no one can work here. Now I just weld all day. No one comes here because it takes money to make art.

‘I earn eight hundred rupees a day. Now if I put my earnings on a frame of pictures, my children will have to sleep hungry that day, so I can’t spend anything here and there is nothing to spend.’

Muneer Ahmed said in a sobbing tone that now all his struggle is only that he can somehow earn two meals a day.
