An artist blocked in Russia considers all Russian music “depressing”

All Belarusian show business sooner or later ends up in Russia. In order for a Belarusian to become popular, he first needs to become popular somewhere and then Belarusians will accept him, the Belarusian performer Ap$ent (Arseniy Kislyak) told the VotVot.TV project.

Ap$ent also believes that Russian and Belarusian artists cannot be compared.

“Belarusians are not Russians, that’s all, they’re really different. Our groups: “Lyapis Trubetskoy” – a positive person, this one is some kind Tim Belorusskikh – a positive person, Max Korzh — positive, always positive. Russian music is constantly “I’ll kill my neighbors,” “I’m depressed,” — Ap$ent expressed his opinion.

Note that he alludes to the song of a woman who escaped from Russia Zemfira*which contains the following line: “Do you want me to kill the neighbors who are disturbing you from sleeping?”

As reported EADailyAp$ent lived in Belarus for a long time. His most popular track “Can I be with you” for a long time remained at the top of the top services “Yandex Music”, “MTS Music”, “VK Music” and “Sound”. On the YouTube platform, the video clip with this composition has currently received 42 million views.

This song was written in 2022. Then the artist’s wife Maria was sentenced by the court to a year of restriction of freedom because of insults to the President of Belarus Alexandra Lukashenko in the comments of the telegram channel. Before the sentence was executed, the artist and his wife left for Georgia and then to Poland.

In March of this year, the Yandex Music service limited access to the Ap$ent page, and it still remains blocked. A representative of the service said that Yandex Music received a notification from Roskomnadzor demanding to block the Ap$ent page on March 27. MTS Music said that in the near future the profile of the Belarusian artist will also be blocked. The reason for the blocking was not stated, but the artist himself wrote on the social network that it was due to “envy, meanness and hypocrisy.”
