an application to detect frailties in seniors in real time

As we know, new technologies have invaded our daily lives. And what is true in our everyday life is also true in the professional world and even, today, in the field of “care”. In caring for the elderly.

As such, the company Amaelles*, a French collective for help and personal care, has decided to integrate some of these new technology tools into its teams. And among them, Reper’âge.

Thanks to this application, the fragilities of the elderly are identified: nutrition, falls, drug-induced iatrogeny, cognitive disorders, isolation, failure of caregivers… Recognized and financed by the Regional Health Agency, this tool allows home workers to improve efficiency in monitoring the well-being and the evolution of the situation of the elderly.

In practice, when sending an alert, the SAAD sector manager or the IDEC (nurse coordinator) of the SSIAD receives an email. This allows him to be informed and to act according to the degree of urgency.

Repér’âge is also a great positive management tool: it promotes employees in the field through their role of alerting and reporting weaknesses and creates a team spirit.

Used by nearly 300 employees, home helpers and nursing assistants, the tool allows real interaction between the help and care services to improve the coordination of care and optimize the health course for all.

*Amaelles aims to defend and transform jobs in the personal care and assistance sector and promote their social utility, and invites associations that innovate, invent and transform themselves every day in the service of the common good and their customers. , patients and residents to join the collective. Already more than 15 associations in 14 departments, more than 10,000 employees and 900 volunteers, all over France, are joining forces under the banner of Amaelles.
