The family of the 16-year-old student Shahanda accused the doctor who performed an appendectomy in his private clinic in the center and city of Fayed, where he recommended that she receive an antibiotic injection through a nurse inside the clinic without an allergy test, which led to cardiac arrest.
Immediately, her family transferred her to the medical complex in Ismailia in a complete coma, and a pulmonary resuscitation was performed for her, and she was placed on a respirator for days in the intensive care room, until she died a short time ago.
The victim’s father went to the medical complex police station and wrote an official report, and demanded to bring a forensic doctor to examine the body and reveal the causes of death. An urgent complaint is scheduled to be submitted to the Doctors Syndicate once morest the responsible doctor.
The victim did not suffer from any chronic diseases
For his part, Shahanda’s uncle Yasser Abdel Hamid said that the deceased was in good health before the Zayda operation, and she did not suffer from any chronic diseases.
And he added, in a live broadcast via Cairo 24: After she left the operation and woke up, she was in good condition, and she spoke to her family, and she was fully conscious, until the nurse came and gave her an antibiotic injection, and she lost consciousness at once, and following contacting the doctor, he came to the clinic and put her on heart machines, and went With the family to the medical complex in Ismailia, and said they called her without any justification for what happened, denying any responsibility for the deterioration of the situation.
