Sources revealed to the German newspaper “Der Spiegel” that Berlin will send Leopard tanks to Ukraine.
The newspaper added that Berlin will allow European countries to re-export Leopard tank to Ukraine.
In a related context, the Wall Street Journal said that a German-American deal requires each country to send a small number of tanks to Ukraine.

Two US officials revealed today, Tuesday, that the United States will apparently drop its opposition to sending M1 Abrams tanks to Ukraine, and an announcement may be made in this regard this week.

The two officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity, added that they were not aware of a final US decision to send these tanks to Ukraine, a move that may encourage Germany to take similar action, according to Archyde.com.
The German government has come under increasing pressure to supply Ukraine with Leopard tanks, which might have a significant impact on the battlefield once morest Russian forces.
