The Cégep de Trois-Rivières is organizing an evening of entertainment and awareness, this Thursday, April 18, so that the general public can become familiar with and better understand the world of drag.
Drag Trashy will host the evening in the company of her sidekicks Mister Boogie and Lana Dalida.
During the evening, there will be drag performances, interspersed with respectful and stimulating exchanges with the drag performers where the public will be able to ask questions.
The objective is to break taboos, demystify stereotypes, open dialogue and raise awareness of different realities.
The event is part of the Policy aimed at preventing and combating sexual violence at Cégep de Trois-Rivières. Through this event, the establishment wishes to raise awareness of the LGBTQ+ reality, particularly because this group is one of the groups targeted by sexual violence.
The evening will begin at 7 p.m. at the Théâtre du Cégep de Trois-Rivières. Parking will be free from 6 p.m., except in spaces reserved for residences.
Tickets will also be available at the door the evening of the event
