By introducing the D-EVO III G80i DR FDR flat sensor to the market, Fujifilm is innovating with an 80 cm long device, ideal for exploring the entire spine or long bones. It reduces acquisition and exposure times for patients.
Fujifilm Healthcare announces the expansion of its range of FDR D-EVO DR flat panel detectors with the introduction of the FDR D-EVO III G80i DR.
This 80 cm flat panel sensor provides large, high-quality digital images (DR) with no break in continuity, making it possible to optimize the capacities of existing flat panel sensors. Its cordless, and therefore portable, design will improve practices in surgical and emergency care settings, as it can easily be moved and positioned anywhere in the exam room.
This device is very suitable for radiological examinations of the entire spine, especially during and following spine surgeries. The D-EVO III G80i DR FDR panel is perfect for this type of application, as well as for the exploration of long bones, due to its size and low weight, in a single image. It thus makes it possible to avoid any deformations resulting from the assembly of several images, but also to reduce the times of acquisition and exposure to ionizing radiation for patients.
