Gulf International Qatar Services Company announced the signing of an interim agreement with the Manaya Holding Group to conduct a possible comprehensive merger of Amwaj Catering Services Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Gulf International Services Company, with Al Shaqab Abela Catering Services Company and Atyab Vegetables and Fruits.
According to a statement by the Qatari company, the potential merger will result in the establishment of a fully Qatari services company of a large size to support the implementation of the strategic North Field project and the general expansion of the energy sector.
In the first quarter of this year, Gulf International Services Company recorded a net profit of 83 million riyals, compared to a net loss of 5.5 million riyals in the corresponding quarter of 2021.
