The Angolan Association for Women and Sports (AMUD) held yesterday, Friday, Solidarity Christmas in the country’s 18 provinces, specifically in rural areas and communities.
Speaking to the newspaper O PAÍS, the president of the Angolan Association for Women and Sports (AMUD), Justina Praça said that every year the body she heads holds Christmas Solidarity, with needy centers or communities.
“In truth, AMUD brings love, fraternity, sport and traditional games to the aforementioned places”, he explained.
Justina Praça highlighted that these are areas where there is little talk or practice of sporting activities.
“The objective, too, is to give hope to children and families, with examples of players who left these areas and today have a name in society”, he highlighted.
