Zurich (awp) – The Austrian-German optical and photonic semiconductor giant AMS Osram, listed on SIX, has completed its financing program with a total collection of around 2.25 billion euros. The issue of subscription rights in particular brought in 781 million Swiss francs or approximately 808 million euros, indicates a report released on Wednesday.

The Premstaetten firm also recalls having taken out one billion euros in new loans and raised an additional 450 million through the monetization of assets.

The conclusion of this financing program made the additional financing project for 350 million announced at the end of September redundant and made it possible to repay early two loans maturing in 2025, of 450 and 850 million respectively.

The level of debt has been reduced to 2.1 times gross operating surplus (Ebitda) and AMS Osram aims to return to an acceptable default risk profile (investment grade) by 2026.
