The film stars Mohamed Mamdouh, Amina Khalil, Dina El-Sherbiny and Yousra. It is written by Wissam Sabry and directed by Karim El-Sobki. Its events are set in a framework of suspense and action, around outlaw friends who engage in criminal acts. leading them to major crises.

Amr Youssef said he was excited to participate in the film “Shaqu” because it “includes attractive elements for me, starting with its subject, which presents a great diversity between action, comedy, tragedy and romance, which is something you rarely find in a single film, and its pace is fast.
He added: “My character in the film is new in its details, and has great diversity and changes in its dramatic development, and the story contains diverse human feelings, so I was attracted by the work and excited to present it I decided my position immediately following finishing reading the script”, emphasizing that this experience was new to him and that he had never played it before.
He revealed the behind-the-scenes preparation for this character, especially since it relies heavily on action, explaining that he trained to perform strength exercises, rehearsals and work sessions with the author and director, to draw character details, for example. a period of more than 9 full months. He emphasized that the most difficult scenes in the film for him were the action scenes, explaining that they “involved great danger, and yet I presented them myself without the aid of a stunt double, even in the most difficult and dangerous scenes that required jumping from heights.
