The Egyptian artist, Amr Diab, expressed his enthusiasm for singing in Beirut, indicating that he is currently working on choosing the appropriate songs for the concert that he will perform on the 19th of this month in Lebanon.
Amr Diab described the Lebanese and Arab audiences as “hearers and gourmets”, expressing his happiness for being in Lebanon in order to sing in front of this sensitive audience, especially since this participation comes following an absence from meeting this audience close to his heart.
He added, “I feel very happy because, following an absence of 12 years, I will meet my wonderful fans from the heart of Lebanon. This evening will be an opportunity for the audience to celebrate and prove to everyone that Beirut opens its heart to everyone and embraces the Arab brothers through the language of Arabic music.”
Amr Diab will revive the concert, which is organized under the auspices of the “Komen” insurance brokerage company, following an absence of 12 years, in the Beirut markets on the 19th of this month, as he will present among his fans and lovers a bouquet of his songs that achieved success during his long artistic career.
For its part, the sponsoring company stated that there is a high demand for the ceremony, as reservations so far indicate the attendance of between 20 and 30 thousand, of whom 30% are from the Gulf countries.
