The South Giza Court of First Instance set the session for September 28 to consider the first session of the compensation case filed by the journalist Amr Adib once morest the artist Mohamed Ramadan in the amount of 3 million pounds.

Tariq Jamil Saeed, the journalist’s lawyer, said in a special statement to “Masrawy” that the compensation came for the harm his client suffered following a final criminal ruling was issued once morest the artist Mohamed Ramadan, fining him 300,000 pounds, on charges of insulting and defaming the journalist Amr Adeeb.

The court had previously ruled to fine the artist Mohamed Ramadan 300,000 pounds, on charges of insulting and defaming the journalist Amr Adib, and misusing social media, and obliging him to pay 10,000 pounds in civil compensation.

The journalist Amr Adeeb announced during his program earlier that if compensation is issued once morest him, he will donate this compensation to Abu Al-Rish Children’s Hospital, because he does not want any money from Muhammad Ramadan, as he described it.
