Amon-Ra St. Brown achieves two records at the same time

Footballer Amon-Ra St. Brown has shone once more in the NFL for the Detroit Lions, setting an all-time club record. The German-American managed a touchdown in his sixth consecutive game across the season, St. Brown drew level with Leon Hart (1951) and Herman Moore (1994). Next week, the wide receiver will be the sole top position.

St. Brown scored two touchdowns at 36:27 once morest the Washington Commanders. With a 13-yard catch, the pass catcher made it 11:0 in the first quarter, and in the final phase the 22-year-old caught a ball from eleven yards to make it 35:21. Last season, St. Brown had two touchdowns in a game as a rookie.

In addition, St. Brown had at least 8 receptions (9 REC, 116 YDS, 2 TD) for the eighth time in a row. He set an NFL record that only Michael Thomas (Saints) and Antonio Brown (Steelers) had previously achieved.

The Lions celebrated their first win of the new season following losing to the Philadelphia Eagles (35-38). After a 22-0 lead, the hosts had to tremble once more.
