An ammonia leak occurred Saturday morning in an industrial building in Laval.
Firefighters were called to intervene in a large industrial building on rue Ernest-Cornier, in the Saint-Vincent-de-Paul sector.
“Sector to avoid, a security perimeter is currently erected,” said the Laval firefighters association (APL) on Twitter.
The leak being major, the help of a specialized team of Hazardous Materials Intervention of Montreal was requested, then indicated the APL.
