President Andrés Manuel López Obrador confirmed the death of two people behind the earthquake of 6.9 degrees that was recorded in the country in the early hours of this Thursday September 22.
During the morning press conference, the Mexican president lamented the deaths and pointed out that both occurred in Mexico Cityafter activation of the seismic alert.
“Fortunately there was no major damage. Of course regrets the loss of two people here in Mexico City. A lady who fell and hit her head and another person who died from a heart attack”, reported AMLO at the National Palace.
“In the rest of the country minor material damage. Earthquake ‘awakens’ Mexico
