  • Amira and Oliver Pocher are known as ruthlessly honest show hosts.

  • Although they reveal much about their everyday and private lives online, they have so far held back on one topic: finances.

  • Surprisingly, the 29-year-old presenter spoke in a podcast about the money in the Pocher house.

  • She revealed that Oli had insisted on a marriage contract and that she did not know his account balance – but that was perfectly fine with her.

  • The two also want to bring up their sons in such a way that not everything is simply inherited, but that you have to work for the chunk.

Oliver and Amira Pocher have been married since 2019, have two sons together and often speak unembellishedly about private life and their family life on TV shows or their own podcast. But they kept the topic of finances hidden – until now!

In the latest edition of the “Female Finance” podcast with host and “Let’s Dance” colleague Janin Ullmann (40), the 29-year-old mother of two and presenter reveals that she and her husband signed a marriage contract before the wedding. “He insisted,” says Amira. “But I also said of myself: Please let’s make a marriage contract. At no point do I want you to feel like I want any of your money.»

There would also be no joint account at Pocher. Accordingly, Amira does not know her husband’s account balance either. But that’s true for her: “I’m not interested in his money, even if it was said quite often at the beginning: Yes, it can be endured or yes, it’s just about his money and everything.”

No savings accounts for the kids

Savings books for her children are also out of the question for Amira: “I’ve never had good experiences with people who have inherited money. They just don’t relate to money because they got it for free from the start. (…) I want to teach my children that you have to do something for money», she says with determination.

With Janin Ullmann, on the other hand, things are different: “When my ex-husband and I got married, we approached it very romantically and we didn’t sign a marriage contract at the beginning, for example.” Only after the wedding did they enter into a post-marital contract. They also had a joint account – not for their income, but for common household expenses.
