The leaders of the ruling Muslim League-N have reacted strongly to the speeches in the meeting of Tehreek-e-Insaaf on Monday and said that ‘the work of this party has only remained to throw mud.’
Federal Minister for States and Border Affairs, Amir Muqam, while holding a press conference in Islamabad along with Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Ataullah Tarar, said that the people have rejected PTI.
Amir Muqam condemned the alleged use of derogatory language by PTI leaders during the political rally. He alleged that Tehreek-e-Insaf used government resources for the rally but still the public rejected them badly. “There should be an investigation and inquiry into the resources used for the rally.”
Engineer Amir Muqam said that he respects everyone’s mother and sister, but the language used by Ali Amin Gandapur regarding Maryam Nawaz is regrettable. The Federal Minister said that in the first place, it should not have been that they compared the performance of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, it is their habit to talk and lie like this, the rally was nothing but threats to the institutions.

He said that Israeli media is writing in favor of PTI founder and they have adopted him politically.
Khawaja Asif said that ‘on the one hand, Israel is committing atrocities in Gaza and on the other hand, the founder of PTI has never openly condemned Israel.’
Khawaja Asif criticized the PTI founder for failing to openly condemn Israel despite the ongoing atrocities in Gaza.
The Defense Minister also pointed out that Israel sees Pakistan as a threat.

On Sunday, the meeting of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf at Sangjani in Islamabad ended after a delay of about three hours, while the administration asked to take action on the delay.
In a statement released by Deputy Kushman Islamabad, it was said that legal action against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf will be taken under the new law.

On the other hand, speaking at the Sangjani rally, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur said that ‘I am giving a deadline. If Imran Khan is not released legally in one to two weeks, we will release Imran Khan ourselves.
He said that the next meeting will be held in Lahore, NOC or not, we will hold a meeting in Lahore.

The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has said in his speech that ‘we do not accept any NRO, we will take back our looted property.’
Ali Amin Gandapur said that ‘a few families will not be allowed to destroy their future.’

Before the rally, containers were placed on the entrance and exit routes of Islamabad, while the roads from Taxila to Islamabad are also closed. However, vehicular movement continues within the city.

Correspondent Mona Khan said that the local administration has closed many important highways by installing containers before the rally.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government spokesperson and PTI leader Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif has said on Sunday that ‘If force is used to stop the rally, the government will have to bear the consequences.’

‘Stop blocking roads, placing containers, stopping vehicles or making excuses for explosives, don’t waste the nation’s time.’

Hand grenade recovered from near the meeting place: Police
Islamabad Police said in a statement that a few hours before the rally, hand grenades and other devices were recovered from a suspicious bag near the rally hall.
According to the statement, there was a high alert due to the current security situation in the city and search operations were being conducted in view of the threat of terrorism in the gatherings.
Meanwhile, a suspicious bag containing hand grenades, detonators, explosive materials was found near the meeting place.
The statement further said that further search operation of the law enforcement agencies is going on in the area and checking has been increased at the entrances and exits of the city.
PTI convoys left from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
According to correspondent Izharullah from Peshawar, convoys led by local leaders of PTI from different districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa left for Islamabad.
The PTI has planned to enter the assembly hall together, under which convoys arriving in Swabi from across the province were led by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.
PTI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Social Media Spokesperson Ikram Khatana told Independent Urdu that workers from Malakand Division, Peshawar, Mardan, Nowshera, Charsadda, Khyber, Charsadda, Mohmand and other nearby districts will gather at Swabi Interchange, where Amin Gandapur. Conditional permission to rally
Islamabad’s administration said on Saturday that permission for the rally has been given with 40 conditions, breaching which “law will come into action.”

A day before the rally, the Islamabad Police said in a statement on X that the local police held a high-level meeting on Saturday in which ‘in view of the law and order situation, the security of the entry and exit routes of Islamabad has been improved. Orders were issued to take important steps regarding construction, diversion of traffic and providing the best travel facilities to the citizens.
‘PTI workers must reach the meeting place’
PTI Islamabad Region President Aamir Mughal has urged the party workers to attend the rally today.
In a video posted on X, Aamir Mughal said that the founder of Tehreek Imran Khan has appealed to the people of Rawalpindi and Islamabad that even if they have to walk (due to the roadblocks), they should attend today’s meeting. Must arrive.’

‘Government will give full response to violence’

On September 2, Senator Irfanul Haque Siddiqui presented a bill related to this law in Pakistan’s upper house, i.e. Senate, after which the Senate’s Standing Committee on Interior approved the bill by majority vote on Tuesday.
Under this law, those who hold a meeting, procession or protest within the limits of the federal capital without government permission can be jailed for up to three years.
