CrowdStrike shares fell 14% in premarket trading in the US

Shares in the cyber security company CrowdStrike Holdings Inc, whose software has led in part to a global IT weaponry, fell sharply on the stock market. About this informs CNBC.

Shares of CrowdStrike, which makes software that helps companies manage their IT security environment, fell 14% in premarket trading in the US.

In turn, shares of Microsoft, which also reported problems related to its Azure and Microsoft 365 cloud services, fell 2% in premarket trading.

We will remind that earlier the cyber security company CrowdStrike Holdings Inc, whose software partially led to a global IT failure, has already found the bug and is fixing it.

The State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection provided advice to users for quick recovery of the IT system in case of technical problems.

On Thursday evening, the Microsoft company revealed technical failures in the operation of the Microsoft Azure cloud service and the Microsoft Office 365 program package. As a result, technical failures in the work of various companies began to unfold in a cascade from the United States to Asia: from airlines to banks, telecommunications companies and chain supermarkets.
