While the Egyptian exchange market is witnessing a state of stability and cautious calm, the dollar recorded slight increases against Egyptian Pound Approaching the level of 19 pounds.
Banks in Egypt traded dollar prices between the range of 18.87 – 18.96 pounds for purchase, and 18.97 – 18.99 pounds for sale, and the price of the dollar today reached the highest level for purchase at the Egyptian Gulf Bank, and it scored 18.96 pounds, while the highest level for sale was at the International Commercial Bank, Arab African Bank and Bank Suez Canal at the level of 18.99 pounds.
In the two largest government banks, namely the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr, the dollar exchange rate recorded a level of 18.91 pounds for purchase, and 18.97 pounds for sale. In the Suez Canal Bank, the dollar recorded 18.89 pounds for purchase, and 18.99 pounds for sale.
In private banks, the dollar exchange rate at the Commercial International Bank recorded a level of 18.93 pounds for purchase, and 18.99 pounds for sale. In the Arab African Bank, the green American paper recorded a level of 18.89 pounds for purchase, and 18.99 pounds for sale.
The euro in the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr recorded a level of 19.29 pounds for purchase, and 19.42 pounds for sale. At the Commercial International Bank, the European currency recorded a level of 19.32 pounds for purchase, and 19.44 pounds for sale.
In private banks, the pound sterling at the Commercial International Bank recorded a level of 23.01 pounds for purchase and 23.16 pounds for sale. According to the Central Bank of Egypt, the average exchange rate of the pound sterling reached 22.96 pounds for purchase, and 23.16 pounds for sale.
In the Arab world, the Saudi riyal at the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr recorded a level of 5.02 pounds for purchase, and 5.05 pounds for sale. The Kuwaiti dinar exchange rate recorded a level of 59.30 pounds for purchase, and 61.89 pounds for sale. The exchange rate of the UAE dirham reached 5.14 pounds for purchase, and 5.16 pounds for sale.
