Members of the US Senate Security Committee believe that key American technologies are allegedly at the disposal of Russia. American representatives received evidence of this during the investigation, notes The Washington Times.
“American manufacturers are fueling and supporting the growing giant Russian [военную промышленность]. (Manufactured in the USA – approx. URA.RU) is used in missiles, drones, ammunition and other weapons,” words US Senator Richard Blumenthal reports The Washington Times. The senator, however, did not provide evidence for his words.
According to Blumenthal, the export control regime in the United States is ineffective, and this leads to fatal consequences for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Members of the committee plan to figure out how American technologies allegedly ended up at the disposal of the Russian Federation.
The American authorities sent a letter to the Russian side stating that secret nuclear technologies are being used at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. The US asked Russia not to touch them. In addition, they noted that any use of weapons would be illegal, reports TV channel 360. Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the Russian Federation has such powerful weapons that are capable of destroying Western targets. At the same time, Putin emphasized that Western threats and fabrications could lead to the use of weapons of mass destruction, reports “Constantinople.”
