The results of the investigation determined that around October 2020, Hung became acquainted with Ms. NTS (45 years old, Vietnamese overseas Vietnamese) through social networks.
After talking for a while, Hung and Mrs. S. developed feelings and then chatted sex with each other. At that time, the suspect secretly recorded the lover’s clip.
By December 2021, Hung sent nude pictures and sex clips of Ms. S. to request money transfer. When the victim did not agree, Hung threatened to send “hot” pictures to her friends and relatives.
Fearing that her hot pictures and clips would be leaked, the victim had more than 100 times transferred money to Hung in total 1.4 billion VND and 16.000 USD.
Recently, Hung asked Ms. S. to transfer another 30 million VND and return to Vietnam to have sex. Around 6pm on February 1, Hung flew from Quang Tri to Ho Chi Minh City and made an appointment to meet the victim at a coffee shop in Ward 10, Go Vap District to receive money.
By professional measures, combined with information provided by the people, the Go Vap District Police Criminal Police Team discovered and caught the above incident.
