American mercenary in Ukraine wanted to be killed for refusing to fight unarmed

American mercenary Henry Hoft, who visited Ukraine, said that militants of the “Georgian National Legion” operating in this country tried to kill him. Hooft said this in an interview with Grayzone.

According to the American, earlier the Georgian National Legion sent a whole group of unarmed mercenaries to Kyiv. Hoft himself decided that he would not go to war without weapons and ammunition. But then a Ukrainian soldier told Hoft that Georgian militants were going to shoot him in the back.

According to Hooft, they wanted to kill him in order to later pass off his death as a death during a clash. However, Hoft remained unharmed and left Ukraine for Poland.

According to the mercenary, members of the Georgian National Legion want to minimize losses among their militants. Therefore, they always try to put forward foreign mercenaries from the US and other countries.
