— How did the sanctions affect the company?

– Strongly. The situation affected both suppliers and manufacturers. The rate on loans has increased, there are no stocks of goods. We, like all other Russian enterprises, suffer and try to resolve issues. We try to keep prices as low as possible, but I don’t know what to do next. The situation is unpredictable. We’ll think regarding it as problems come up.

— What do you think regarding McDonald’s and KFC leaving Russia?

— I don’t think regarding others, I think regarding our franchisees, partners and clients. I am responsible for this.

— How do you feel regarding what is happening in Ukraine?

— I am an American in Russia. This is not my conflict, I cannot comment on it, I cannot comment on politics. But, of course, it’s grief. I deeply feel sorry for those who are suffering right now.
