African woman jailed in Dubai for stealing gold and money from American citizen. The woman stole 1000 dirhams in cash and gold worth 8000 dirhams. Imprisonment for three months.
The relevant incident took place last July. The woman and the complainant, an American citizen, met at a night club. After getting to know each other and establishing friendship, the young man invited the young woman to his residence. The man said the money and chain were missing from his apartment the next morning. By the time the young man woke up, the young woman was gone. Immediately informed the police.
