American Airlines resumes flights between New York-JFK and Canada

This Tuesday (10), American Airlines after three years resumed nonstop operations between New York (JFK) and Canada with service to Toronto – Pearson (YYZ). The carrier’s last operation on this route was on December 17, 2019.

Flight AA 4469 was operated by American Eagle in an Embraer E175 registered with registration N133HQ, which took off from John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK) at 09:41 local time and landed at Lester Pearson International Airport (YYZ) at 10:52, after one hour and eleven minutes.

According to data obtained by Aviacionline through Cirium, the company will have an offer of 2,128 weekly seats between New York (JFK) and Toronto (YYZ)this represents an increase of 72.7% compared to 2019 levels.

The route will be operated on Embraer E175 aircraft with 76 seats in three classes (12 First Class Domestic/20 Main Extra Cabin/46 Economy Class) and promotional fares are available from USD 309 round trip. For the time being, the airline has suspended operations between New York (JFK) and Montreal (YUL).

With the restart of the airline’s operations between JFK and Toronto (YYZ)American will offer eight non-stop routes to Canada’s main airport, in addition to 32,634 seats per week between YYZ and the United States.
