American actress Camerod Diaz, 49, revealed that she rarely thinks about her appearance, and never washes her face, despite owning “a billion” of skin care products.
Diaz spoke about how much she has been feeling in her life since she moved away from the spotlight, in an interview with the “Roll Breakers” program.
The British newspaper “Daily Mail” quoted Diaz as saying that Hollywood’s temptations are a “trap” that she escaped after her marriage to singer Benji Madin in 2015.
It has been reported that Diaz has turned down movie offers worth $100 million since her hiatus, and it seems that she has no regrets at all.
“I am totally a victim of all the social opposition and exploitation that women are exposed to,” Diaz said.
She added: “It’s hard not to look at yourself and judge her on the basis of other standards of beauty, and over the past eight years, I’ve become like a wild animal.”
Diaz indicated that she has become less focused on her appearance these days, saying: “I don’t care, the last thing I think about daily is how I look.”
“I never wash my face,” she added, noting that she had skincare products piled up on dusty shelves.
Diaz made it clear that her priority as she approaches her 50th birthday is to “stay strong.”
