American actor Bob Saget died of a head injury

During the examination of the actor, no evidence of alcohol or drug use was found.

A month following the sudden death of Bob Saget the family of the American actor and comedian has announced the cause of death. “The authorities have come to the conclusion that Bob has died as a result of a head injury,” said a statement from the relatives on Wednesday, which included: “TMZ.com “, “Hollywood Reporter” and “People.com ” has been published.

According to this, the actor had accidentally hit himself on the head, but did not pay further attention to this and then lay down to sleep. There was no evidence of alcohol or drug use. Shortly following Saget’s death, the Orange County Medical Examiner’s office in the state of Florida had already announced that nothing indicated a crime.

Saget, best known for his role in the hit sitcom “Full House,” was found dead in an Orlando hotel room on January 9. The standup comedian was on a stage tour in Florida. Saget was 65 years old.

The comedian was married to producer Kelly Rizzo since 2018. From his first marriage, he had three adult daughters. Saget’s funeral in Los Angeles was attended by friends and colleagues such as John Stamos, Candace Cameron Bure, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, as well as Jodie Sweetin.
