Wildfires have been raging in the United States since April 22. It had an impact from Texas to Arizona. The worst affected areas are New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, Texas, Oklahoma and Nebraska in the southeastern United States.
In New Mexico alone, thousands of firefighters are working tirelessly to put out the blaze. More fires are forecast in many states. There has been only one death in the U.S. due to the fire so far. One of the volunteers from the fire brigade died in the fire.
Wildfires were rampant in the US last year as well. The U.S. National Intra-Agency Fire Center reported 44,647 fires in the U.S. as of last September. The marshal fire in Colorado last December is considered one of the biggest fires in the state of Colorado. The fire started as a small fire in Boulder and later spread. More than a thousand buildings were destroyed. No deaths were reported but more than six people were injured in the blaze.
The hurricane will wreak havoc
A strong hurricane swept through parts of Kansas on Friday night, causing extensive damage. Dozens of homes were reportedly destroyed and thousands of people left in the dark.

Andrew Fire Chief Chad Russell said the costs were “completely gone”. Russell said 50 to 100 buildings were damaged in Sedwick County until Saturday morning.

Meanwhile, a video of a hurricane blowing in Andover has been released. The video has already been viewed by over 1.4 million people on Twitter. Another video was released of cars crashing into buildings as a strong hurricane swept through parts of Kansas. The epicenter was reported at 158-206 mph.
