América confirmed its first signing for 2023: Franco Leys, Argentine midfielder arrives in Cali | Colombian Soccer | betplay league

After several days of waiting and negotiations since the end of the competition in 2022, América de Cali announced through its social networks the first contract for what will be the first semester of 2023.

This is the Argentine midfielder Franco Ezequiel Leys, born on February 2, 1993 in San Lorenzo and who has played his entire career on Argentine soil since his debut in 2013.

The ‘daddy’ as he is known, debuted in 2013 with the Colón de Santa Fe club, where in 2014 he was champion of the First National and his pass was until 2017. Then in that half of the season he reached Juventud Unida de Gualeguaychú until mid-2018.

He then spent a year in Sarmiento de Junín. In mid-2019, he left the club and arrived at Temperley until 2020. Since then, he has played for Patronato, a team where he recently won the Argentine Cup against Talleres de Argentina.

Now Leys arrives at América de Cali, where he will have his first international experience and comes to earn a position in the scarlet midfield in the league and Colombian Cup matches.
