AMD’s future roadmap, which officially announced ZEN4 in September, has captured information regarding the Ryzen 7000 series with 3D V-Cache.
The news was confirmed through the major foreign media Videocardz, and the existence of the Ryzen 7000X3D was confirmed on the AMD roadmap. The currently expected release time is the first half of the CES 2022 announcement, but it is speculated that the release time may be earlier as Intel’s aggressive CPU pricing and mentioning the 13900KS with a ‘6GHz’ clock.
According to the roadmap, the 3D V-Cache applied CPU lineup has not been confirmed yet. The existing Ryzen 5000 series has released only one CPU as the R7 5800X3D, so the possibility that only one CPU will be released this time cannot be ruled out.
The positive news is that the 3D V-Cache model of the 5000 series had lower CPU clocks, but the Ryzen 7000 series is not expected to do so. Therefore, the ZEN4 3D V-Cache CPU is expected to have higher gaming performance compared to the existing 5800X3D.
