Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be released on November 8th for PC and today AMD has already released drivers with optimizations for this and other games. This version also brings Radeon Boost support to Alan Wake 2, ensuring greater performance and fluidity when playing on PC.
The new version of AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition is 23.11.1 and is now available for download from the official website and through the AMD Software updates menu if you already have it installed on your PC.
The games with optimizations integrated in this version are:
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name
The Invincible
JX3 Ultimate
AMD also details that it is possible to obtain up to 20% higher performance playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 with an AMD Radeon RX 7000 series GPU. Some of the recommended graphics cards are the RX 7600 for 1080p resolution, the RX 7700 XT and RX 7800 XT at 1440p, and RX 7900 XT and RX 7900 XTX at 4K.
Another new feature is support for Radeon Boost in Alan Wake 2, a technology that reduces the resolution of objects in the background by detecting the movement of the character on the screen to release the GPU and CPU load. This allows you to increase the game’s frame rate per second without harming its graphics.
Additionally, this update fixes issues found in several games such as Counter Stike 2, Total War: Pharaoh’s, Alan Wake 2, Baldur’s Gate 3 and Forza Motorsport.
The new version of the drivers is compatible with Windows 10 64-bit edition 1809, Windows 11 21H2, or newer editions of Microsoft systems.
