It is rumored that laptop manufacturers would favor future AMD Ryzen 8000 processors to the detriment of Intel Meteor Lake.
Future mobile processors Meteor Lake for laptops will be officially launched by Intel on December 14.
Yet laptop manufacturers would prefer integrate into their future machines the next generation of AMD Ryzen 8000 processors in code name Hawk Point.
The reason ? A better availability at the start of the year and best performance expected.
This would obviously not signify the absence of an Intel processor in future laptop PCs but a largest offering of laptops built around an AMD CPU.
Some even mention a mix of 50% Intel laptops versus 50% AMD modelswhich would represent a hard blow for the Santa Clara founder but a great development for the Sunnyvale firm.
