To conclude, according to our tests, the Radeon RX 6800 is indeed ahead of the GeForce RTX 3070 in games without ray tracing, but logically behind in games with ray tracing. In any case, remember that these are two graphics cards released at the end of 2020; repeating the match two and a half years later, in the era of GeForce RTX 4000s and Radeon RX 7000s, is surprising. To choose, we would rather be able to pit the GeForce RTX 4070 once morest the Radeon RX 7800; the first has been available for a few days, the second is still desired.

The Radeon RX 6800 XT, graphics card with the best performance / price ratio of the moment?

Naturally, these two references remain excellent graphics cards, likely to meet the expectations of a large majority of players (remember that the most popular graphics card on Steam is the GTX 1650…).

The Radeon RX 6800 can effectively argue for its twice the amount of VRAM compared to the RTX 3070 (16GB of VRAM vs. 8GB) and better overall performance. In terms of price, however, it remains a little more expensive: Radeon RX 6800s can be found from 579 euros on Amazon (552 euros at RDC), while there are now GeForce RTX 4070s from 473 euros. Only in France, RX 6800 stocks are low, and you can actually get a Radeon RX 6800 XT at almost the same price. Except for a fan of ray tracing, the difference of 100 euros with a GeForce RTX 3070 seems to us to be worth the investment (the RX 6800 XT rivals the RTX 4070 in rasterization at 1080p).
