In the ZEN4 CPU roadmap announced by AMD, it was confirmed that there was a CPU with 3D V-Cache applied separately, and information related to the release date was conveyed.
The news is the leaker Twitter Greymon55, which mentions various spec information and release time before the product is released.
The basis for this speculation is the release date of AMD ZEN4, but the expected release date known so far is September 15th. Since the release of Intel’s next-generation CPU Raptor Lake is expected around October, it is interpreted that AMD is trying to respond by launching 3D V-Cache with performance differentiation according to the game.
On the other hand, the CPU clock is expected to be slightly lower than that of the ZEN4 CPU. The reason is that the R7 5800X3D model increased the L3 cache by applying 3D V-Cache, but some operation clocks were lowered, so the possibility of ZEN4 3D V-Cache is being raised.
