It would seem that the next graphics cards AMD Radeon RX 6650 XT, 6750 XT et 6950 XT are in fact much more than simple updates of the current RX 6000 cards. Indeed, according to @hms1193 on Twitter (Hassan Mutjaba from Wccftech), these would simply replace the RX 6600 XT, 6700 XT and 6900 XT.
The refresh of AMD Radeon RX 6X50 XT cards would replace the RX 6000 cards already present
Remember that according to our latest information these graphics cards would arrive for the May 10 on the market. But launching a new range of graphics cards to replace existing ones while according to the latest rumors, the next Radeon RX 7000 fromAMD hit the market in September, does that really make sense? Indeed, it was @greymon55 on Twitter who responded to a tweet saying that the AMD Radeon RX 7000 GPUs have already been in testing for two months and should hit the market by September. Moreover, it is the AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT (Navi 33) which might be launched first.
It seems like AIBs will stop making 6600/6700/6900 XT cards and focus on the new 6650/6750/6950 XT series instead.
So RDNA 2 refresh is looking more like a replacement rather than a higher-end alternative to existing models.

Then comes the biggest card with the RX 7900 XT which will use a total of seven dies. As we explained only two days ago, two would be the GCDs (Graphics Compute Dies), one the I/O die (or active bridge interconnect) and finally the last four the memory controller dies / cache coupled with GDDR6 type memory modules. Moreover, this reference would have an L3 cache of 256 MB thanks to the 3D memory.
