Earlier, a spokesman for the Indian Embassy in Kuwait had clarified the matter in response to a query issued by the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Hon. The ambassador held a meeting at the Foreign Office in the wake of high concerns over the offensive tweets of some individuals in India. The ambassador said such tweets did not reflect the views of the Indian government in any way. These are only the views of isolated individuals. It does not allow any religion, personality or sect to be insulted or insulted. Those responsible have also issued a statement clarifying these facts.
