After Colombian media reports stating that Conviasa will not be able to fly to that country due to being sanctioned by Ofac, Ambassador Armando Benedetti in a meeting with journalists.
The correspondent of the newspaper El Tiempo in Venezuela shared the statement in which the official affirms that he will not be able to fly, since there are “problems to make the transactions” for being on the sanctioned list.
Despite this, Benedetti clarifies that there is already a company that is going to be in charge of making the route, but that until it is confirmed, he cannot say.
From Colombia Wingo is already approved, which will do so starting in October.
