Parcel deliverers must meet several challenges before bringing the products ordered by customers to their destination. Talk to this Amazon delivery guy from Texas who was stuck in a cornfield for hours last July.

User @6400aks shared a series of videos with more than 500,000 views on the TikTok social network, where he explains how he got stuck in the mud… of farmland.
According to him, the GPS on board the delivery truck led him to deliver a package to a residence along a bumpy street in suburban San Antonio, USA.
Once on the path, the delivery man was unable to continue on his way.
The presence of mud in the cornfield temporarily ended his working day.
“My nightmare has come true. I’m stuck in a cornfield,” he says with dismay.
A farm worker on a tractor had previously damaged the path, making it impossible to travel by the Amazon delivery van.
Although road signs clearly indicate that the passage is prohibited for vehicles, Amazon’s GPS suggested that the delivery man take the road strewn with pitfalls.
The latter claims that the multinational’s assistance teams did not provide reinforcements to the trapped employee, while he demanded that a spare van be sent.
“When we talk regarding safety [chez Amazon], they do not care. My superior is more worried regarding the truck than for my own safety,” he says, adding that his superior would have threatened to fire him if he did not stay at the scene of the incident.
After waiting more than five hours in the middle of Texas farmland, the worker finally approached a woman who was on the phone.
The latter and her husband, owners of the farm, finally agreed to get the van out of its awkward position using a chain and a “pick-up”.
The Amazon courier was able to return to the company’s processing center in San Antonio.
Contacted by the Daily Dot media, Amazon and user @6400aks did not reveal any other details in this file.
