Amazfit launches update that brings Zepp Flow to smartwatches

Amazfit released, earlier than expected, the new firmware update that brings several new features and improvements to one of its smartwatches. One of the new features is support for Zepp Flow, a voice assistant built on large language models (LLM), in German e English.

The company announced, through a post on Slack, that the “Amazfit Balance” smartwatch received the firmware 3.19.6.5 through the update. Which took everyone by surprise, as it was released earlier than expected.

Amazfit Balance now has training plans made for a half or full marathon with the Zepp Sports Coach app. Additionally, two new sports have been added: bouldering and indoor climbing.

The watch can now store heart rate variability (HRV) data from the previous night and the week’s trends. The Amazfit Balance also received a red light setting for the flashlight and now your Zepp Flow supports English and German, as mentioned before.


A Zepp OS 3.5 update, which included Zepp Flow, arrived for customers in the UK, US, Canada and the Republic of Ireland on February 26th. According to Amazfit at launch, the update would arrive for customers in other countries on May 1st.

Unfortunately, there are no signs of when the AI ​​voice assistant will receive support for other languages. That is if he even receives more new languages. Firmware 3.19.6.5 began rolling out on April 16 in the US and Germany. The update should be released globally from April 24th.
