The monster FILM presented by Legendary Pictures, Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire, starts showing today, Wednesday (27/3) in all Indonesian cinemas.

The film, which tells the story of the feud between Kong and Godzilla until their collaboration once morest a bigger enemy, opens a new chapter in the monsterverse, exploring a wider realm that has never been reached by humans.

The filming location for the film Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire was mostly taken in the Daintree Rainforest, Australia.

The Daintree rainforest is the oldest tropical lowland in the world. It is millions of years old, the same age as the Giant Redwoods in California’s Sequoia National Park, United States.

The production took great care when filming in the Daintree Rainforest, so that the stunning habitat remained in the pristine condition they found it.

In addition to the amazing plant species on display at Daintree Forest (including the beautiful and ancient Licuala Fan Palms, which were identified in 1780 and have been around for centuries), the production of Godzilla wild. These include snakes, crocodiles and cassowaries.

While filming, each cast and crew member gets a call sheet, which serves as a reminder for the entire team involved to stay alert.

Apart from that, there are also special handlers who are employed if a snake enters the shooting location. When that happens, the snake will be herded back to a quieter part of the forest. Meanwhile, the crocodiles and cassowaries mostly stayed away from the shooting location.

For the location point called Hollow Earth Monarch in Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire, the production chose a practical property at Cape Tribulation in the heart of the rainforest. Stamp House, an extraordinary monolith surrounded by water and set in wetlands, is the creation of Melbourne architect Charles Wright.

Built in 2013, the house is a completely self-contained off-grid structure, built to withstand tropical conditions, including hurricanes. Stamp House made its feature film debut in this film.

The film Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire was directed by Adam Wingard, who was also behind the film Godzilla Vs Kong.

This film also stars Rebecca Hall, Kaylee Hottle, and Brian Tyree Henry, who previously starred in Godzilla Vs Kong. (Z-1)
