On the weekend of September 21-22, the championship of the A’ Category will begin, while a week later the center will take place in the B’ Category, according to the announcement of the amateur championships of the new season that was made public yesterday by EPS Achaia.
The main difference compared to last year is that in the A’ Division play-offs, the matches will be doubles and not singles, while the height of the brackets remains the same. Let’s look at some important points:
* Each association, together with the declaration of participation, must pay to EPS Achaia the relevant fee, which was defined:
For the A’ Category at 240.00 euros.
For the 2nd Category at 140.00 euros.
For the 3rd Category at 90.00 euros.
* For new clubs as well as for clubs that will come from the merger of two or more clubs and their recognition process by the EPO will not be completed until 23/8, the deadline for submitting the statement is extended up to five days before the draw of the matches Category in which the union that originated from the
merge.
* The eight teams, i.e. the top four teams from each group, will start their matches in the two-round play offs (14 matches), with bonus points. In particular, the points they collected in the regular term will be divided by three.
* A total of four teams are relegated from the A’ Division. In the play outs, the six teams from each Group will receive a total of 12. They will play single games once morest each other and the last four will be relegated. It is the intention of EPS Achaia that in the 2025-2026 season the A’ Division will be held in
two Groups of 10 teams.
* Four teams will be promoted from Division B to Division A. Directly the first of the two groups and will be followed by play offs per group with the teams that finished in the next four places.
* For the 3rd Division championship, decisions will be made as soon as the number of participating teams is clear. The EPS of Achaia estimates that approximately 20 unions will participate.

From the picture that the people of EPS Achaia have at the moment, it appears that 16 A’ and B’ Division teams are pending with their registration and the updating of their information, with the relevant deadline expiring on August 31. From the information they have, it follows that by then everything will have been arranged and the clubs will take part in the championships as normal.
